Metaphoto is a Western Australian photography service dedicated solely to the creative industries in Perth.
Metaphoto is run by Bo Wong, a practising artist and photographer.
Bo is currently the Photographer for the Art Gallery of Western Australia, shooting Australian and international artist’s work for catalogues and the web.
As a working artist, she is also familiar with tight turnarounds for artwork being finished and photographed for publications related to shows.
The Metaphoto Portable Studio means artworks don’t need to travel, minimising risk to the artworks and cost to the artist. Bo can have everything ready to send for grants, competitions and galleries.
Metaphoto also documents art and design related events.
Bo’s experience working in the arts industry means she speaks the language, understands the processes and knows that colour management is critical.
She works with artists and designers to meet their specific industry’s needs, whether it’s images for competitions, publications or to document temporary installations or performances.
Bo can lead the creative process or build a shared vision with her clients.
